To the actor seniors:
Lauren: Dream big, girl. I know you have amazing things ahead. Know you are so loved! Rock it out on the stage and have the time of your life.
Allie: Watching you grow up and being a part of your journey has been something special. Thank you for always giving your all (even with your tongue sticking out).
Hannah M: You bring me so much encouragement and remind me of the impact I make. Thank you for being a part of everything and leading with your talent and dedication! Can't wait to cheer you on (and cry at your songs).
Hannah S: From a little orphan throwing a rat at Hannigan to Alice. What a time this has been. I am so proud of you. Thank you for everything!
Cail: I know it is hard juggling all the adventures you are a part of, but I am incredibly proud of you. Can't wait to watch you rock out your God-given talents.
Kelli: Watching you blossom this year has been nothing short of amazing. I think back to that walk to dinner at Thespian State Conference where you told me you weren't a thespian but a sports kid. You are both, just like I told you then!
Natalia: Your leadership, guidance and willingness to jump in are skills that will serve you well beyond here. We will miss you deeply! I'm so glad you found your love for this!
Logan: A second year of laughter on stage. Your quotes are some of the top ones from this show. Thank you for bringing the energy to everything you do.
Piper: I am so incredibly proud of you. You rock anything you do. You are going to be so deeply missed next year!
John: Watching you come alive as the Caterpillar in auditions is a core memory for me. I can only imagine what it will be like watching it on stage in front of a crowd. Can't wait to cheer you on!
And to others...
Amy: Thank you for the many years that you have believed in this program and given your time, even when your kiddos were not on the stage. Thank you for delgating tech and being willing to give what time you can to making sure we have what we need.
Stephanie: Thank you for being my brain when my brain was not braining. Having you along with us the last two years has been nothing short of amazing. I hope you get to relish in watching your kiddo's senior show. I'm so thankful for all you have done for us -- from sewing costumes, organizing databases or paying bills. Thank you.
Andy: Thanks for always being willing to volunteer your time and do whatever we need. Thank you for always being willing to listen and problem solve. And thank you for always being willing to drill transitions and talk through tech things. We could not have done this without you!
Ashlynn & Mere: Thank you for bringing the physical beauty of movement alive in this show. I couldn't have asked for more. I know you might have thought I was crazy when I talked about this show, but I hope this has been as impactful for you!
Dave: You've been with me all along through this journey! Thank you for being willing to still be a part of it (even if you feel you are not needed...which is false -- you are always needed). Your trusted advice, different perspectives and even being willing to listen to my OCDness on wall paint color is deeply appreciated. But more so, your encouragement has kept me going and allowed this program to thrive.
Ben: Thank you for being patient, tagging along on all day rehearsals, and realizing how much all of this means to me. Also, thank you for loving this show as much as I do, and listen to me talk only about it for months or singing as Alfred in the car. Your support has meant the world to me. I love you so much!
And to the audience. I hope you enjoy the hard work, dreams, and inspiration we have in this show. I hope this stays in your heart as much as it will stay in ours.
