Yara Akkawi

as Lester the Kobald/Student

While this is her first time being in a play on Zoom, Yara is very familiar with the stage performance. She’s been dancing since she was 4, was in the school choir and has performed in the School House Rock musical. During her free time Yara loves to read, dance improv and eat milk chocolate. She is so excited to be in The Magic Wand!
Rae Bayer

as King Hunrakker/Ms. Simmons/Fin's Mom

Rae Bayer is a 13 year old girl, and she has been acting since she was 4. Some of her favorite roles were Older Nala in The Lion King Kids, the Fairy God-kid in The Most Amazing Anything of Evertime, and Marie from The Aristocats Kids. Bethany is very excited to be doing this play with PYT but is also sad that the experience is almost over.
Frankie Rae Bengtson

as Jonas the Bard

This is Frankie's second show with PYT. Earlier this year, she was an Uptowner in the production of Newsies. Frankie is currently a state ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. She enjoys singing at fundraisers to help send kids like her to MDA summer camp. Frankie cannot wait to do more shows with PYT!
Yonatan Brutman

Yonatan is so excited for you to see this funny show! Magic Wand is Yonatan's 10th PYT show and his 12th show in total. Other than theater, Yonatan likes singing, playing basketball, hanging out with friends, and laughing! He hopes you enjoy the show!
Cameron Chao

as Svikari's Lackey/Student

Cameron is 12 years old and is happy to be in The Magic Wand. He enjoys playing sports such as baseball and hockey. He likes reading Harry Potter, building Legos, and rollerblading. He has been in Aladdin Jr. as a guard, The Little Mermaid Jr. as Grimsby, and Honk! Jr. as ostrich and a froglet. He recommends using cocoa powder as dirt makeup. He hopes you enjoy the show!
