This show has been an enormous act of love, combined with some incredible dedication and sacrifice from the cast, crew, and their loved ones. It has taken a remarkable community to bring Fugitive Songs to life and we'd be remiss if we didn't thank all the people that made this show a reality:
- Aidan Wells, who has already supported Emergent by filming our last production, MD'ing our cabaret night, and accompanying our auditions. You're a man of many talents and you've helped this talented cast absolutely shine!
- Monica Athenas, who jumped in feet first and kept us on track through a whirlwind month of rehearsal. We're so lucky to have found you and look forward to working together in the future!
- Gabriella Carucci, who has helped to truly elevate Emergent TheatreWork's presence in the NY theater space and is willing to jump and do anything to make this show a success. We're lucky to have you on the team!
- The AMT Theater staff, who have been the most incredible and gracious hosts. We look forward to our partnerships for hopefully many years to come!
- Evelyn Wenger, who decided not to murder me while I work a full-time job and produce this show while she keeps our 2.5-month-old bundle of joy alive at home. I love you and Liam so much!
- Emily Taborda-Monroe, who is always there for us, despite living 300 miles away.
- Michael Lacey, who's consistent support (particularly in a pinch) allowed us to stay on track and deliver the incredible show you'll see today.
- Kat C. Zhou, for hopping on several calls to answer our (probably) stupid questions as we re-adjusted to the space.
- The incredibly kind, caring, and hard-working cast that has spent countless hours bringing these characters to life on an INSANE timeline. We're so proud of all of you and are so grateful you chose to be part of our team!

Emergent TheatreWorks was a little dream Joey and I came up with in February 2020 - right before the world was launched into a global pandemic. To have the chance to stage our fourth live production (with our fifth and sixth on the way over the next few months!) is a dream that wouldn't be made possible without all the help of the dozens of folks that have supported us over the years.
